Discovering Tunisia’s hidden Jems [Bardo Museum and El Jem – Tunisia #vanlife]

Van life in La Marsa, Tunisia, was a dreamy affair, but the urge to explore was strong. On the way out of Tunis, I visited the Bardo Museum, home of one of the largest collections of Roman mosaics in the world.

I drove south to the small, unremarkable town of El Jem. Unremarkable aside from the stunning Roman Amphitheatre that towers over the humble dwellings that surround it.
