Vanlife Czechia: Prague Nights, Medieval Streets & Human Skeletons

27th May 2026 by

In this episode of my Eastern European vanlife adventure, I head into Czechia with one destination firmly on the list — the bizarre and fascinating Sedlec Ossuary, also known as the Bone Church.

On the way to Prague, I stop off in Kutná Hora to see one of the strangest places I’ve ever visited — a chapel decorated with thousands of human bones and skulls. Creepy? Absolutely. Worth the detour? Maybe…

Then it’s on to Prague, where I find what might be my best van park-up ever, explore the incredible Old Town, cross the famous Charles Bridge, wander around the massive Prague Castle, and somehow survive a slightly chaotic night out involving live music, Irish bars, questionable decision-making, and a brief hygiene crisis.

This one has a bit of everything:

  • Vanlife in Czechia
  • Stealth parking in Prague
  • The famous Bone Church
  • Prague nightlife
  • Historic architecture
  • Cheap beer
  • Mild danger
  • And one very delicate morning after…
